PSL 9 completed Friday night, and while Multan Sultans lost the final once more, it was a fantastic campaign for them. The squad enjoyed togetherness, they made their supporters happy, and Multan now has a female bowling coach, Alexandra Hartley. Multan supporters are understandably disappointed when Islamabad took the cup from their grasp in the final minutes, but the squad had a successful tournament overall. Alexandra Hartley also contributed to the team’s success, and her appointment as the first female coach in the PSL was well received.
Alexandra recently disclosed in an interview that she has been fasting alongside the squad. She enjoyed experiencing sehris and iftars and wanted to do so with the crew. She admitted that it is really tough to go an entire day without eating or drinking, but she was grateful for the experience.
