Today, for the second day in a row, the Pakistan Stock Exchange showed a strong upward trend. Because of this, the index continued trading above 131,000 points.
On the last working day of the week, the stock market started with a rise of 253 points. This pushed the KSE-100 index up to 130,940 points.
Later in the day, by the end of the first session, the index gained 484 more points and reached 131,171 points. Due to further gains, it touched a new highest level of 131,479 points.
It is important to note that yesterday also the stock market showed strong growth, and the 100-index reached a new record by crossing 131,000 points for the first time in history.
