A 14-year-old minor girl was reportedly exposed to horrific physical torture by the wife of a civil judge in Islamabad. Rizwana has been taken to the hospital. The case was filed at a local police station by the minor girl’s parents. Rizawana, the maid, worked in the civil judge’s residence. The circumstances of the case were also broadcast on all of the major news networks.
Famous actors such as Mishi Khan, Nadia Jamil, and Sajal Aly are also speaking out against child work. Actors and child protection bureau campaigners believe that the practice of keeping minors at home for housework should be condemned. Nadia Jamil also posted a video created by Sajal Aly. “Child labor is a punishable crime under child protection laws,” Sajal Aly stated in the video. “If you see child labor, you must report it as soon as possible.” The Child Protection Bureau is doing a lot of work in this area, but people should likewise discourage hiring kids at home or sending them to work.
