Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan is ready to return to Bollywood soon with the film Abeer Gulal. Despite some controversies, the promotional campaign of the film has started in Dubai.

It is important to note that after 9 years, Fawad Khan is returning to Indian cinema through this Bollywood film, but once again his comeback has become a topic of controversy.
According to Indian media, Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has opposed the release of the film Abeer Gulal. That is why the first promotional event of the film was held in Dubai instead of India.
The music launch event took place at Global Village in Dubai, where the full cast of the film was present. However, the on-screen pair of Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor grabbed the most attention, and their appearance is also trending on social media.
According to media reports, the film’s complete music album was released on digital platforms before this event.
The romantic comedy film was shot in London, and Fawad Khan plays the lead role of Abeer Singh, while Vaani Kapoor stars opposite him.
The film is directed by Aarti S. Bagdi and has been filmed in the beautiful backdrop of London.
The movie is set to release in cinemas on May 9, 2025.
Before this, Fawad Khan was last seen in a Bollywood film in 2016, in Kapoor & Sons.
