Veteran Pakistani actor Tauqeer Nasir recently praised famous stars Hania Aamir and Sajal Aly for their talent and performances.

Tauqeer Nasir is without a doubt one of the great talents of the Pakistani entertainment industry. He has always received appreciation from fans and fellow actors alike. His remarkable work has even earned him national awards like Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Imtiaz from the Government of Pakistan.

He started his career with Pakistan Television (PTV) and worked in many major projects over the years.

Recently, he appeared as a guest on Hina Niazi’s show, where he talked about his career, experiences, and the changes happening in the showbiz world.

Tauqeer Nasir said that actors from the old days were more serious and concerned about their work. Back then, the focus was not on vanity vans or looking glamorous. Instead, actors used to fully understand and live their characters. Just by looking at their appearance, viewers could guess the story of the project. But now, everyone seems more focused on looking good. Even when a woman is shown cooking in the kitchen, she is seen wearing full makeup.

He also shared his disappointment about how new actors do not respect seniors. He said that in the past, juniors and seniors respected each other, and people would speak up for the dignity of their elders. He even shared a story of how he once stood up for the legendary actor Qavi Khan without any fear.

Talking about the current talent in the industry, he said that there are still some good actors working today. Sajal Aly and Hania Aamir are among them. He added that the main thing missing in their careers is good direction. These days, directors focus more on the screen visuals than on teaching or grooming the actors. Because of this, even talented stars struggle to grow and reach their full potential.
