Zeba Bakhtiar was born on 5th November 1962 in Quetta. She is the daughter of the late Yahya Bakhtiar, who was once the Attorney General of Pakistan.

A major turning point in her life came in 1991 when she made her Bollywood debut in the Indian film Henna, opposite Rishi Kapoor. The film was produced and directed by Randhir Kapoor, son of Raj Kapoor.

Second Marriage (1989):
She then married famous Indian actor and comedian Javed Jaffrey. At first, Zeba did not accept the marriage publicly, but Javed Jaffrey showed the marriage certificate to confirm it. This marriage also ended in divorce within a year.
Third Marriage (1993):
Zeba married well-known Pakistani singer Adnan Sami. They also worked together in the film Sargam. They had a son named Azaan Sami Khan, who is now a popular music composer and actor.
In 1997, they got divorced, but both took care of their son together. Later, Adnan Sami gave up Pakistani citizenship and became an Indian citizen.
