Maria said that she is not staying away from the screen for any specific reason, but she is looking for a unique, creative, and challenging role that can truly show her acting talent.
She shared that she has received many scripts, but none of them had the freshness or depth she is searching for.
Maria also criticized the current drama industry, saying that today’s roles lack variety and depth. Remembering the PTV era, she said that the roles she played back then were very close to her heart because she could completely connect with them.
She added that whenever she is offered a role that matches what she is looking for, she will definitely return to the screen.
