The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority organized a colorful Flamenco dance show at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar. The event introduced citizens to European culture and helped strengthen cultural ties between Pakistan and Spain.

This was the first time a Flamenco performance was officially held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Famous Flamenco artists from around the world performed in Peshawar and impressed the audience with their amazing skills. Spanish performers called Pakistan a hospitable and peaceful country while presenting different cultural dances.

Tourism Secretary Dr. Abdul Samad said such events are a great way to understand and connect cultures. He added that because of the efforts of security forces international artists were able to perform in Peshawar peacefully.

Dr. Samad said the arrival of European culture in Peshawar is a positive experience for citizens. He appreciated the large number of families who came to enjoy the Flamenco dance at Nishtar Hall. He also shared that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will soon organize the famous “Jashn-e-Khyber” festival.
