Pakistani showbiz industry’s leading actress, host and social activist Mishi Khan has recently raised her voice in favor of actress Resham and reacted strongly to the statement made against her, after which a new series of discussions has started on social media.
Mishi Khan shared a video on her social media platform, in which she criticized the statement made by Deedar regarding Resham in a program. Deedar had accused Resham of destroying many lives in this program.
Mishi Khan said that nowadays, many TV shows deliberately present content in which artists are ridiculed for ratings.
She said that if serious allegations are made against someone, they should be accompanied by solid evidence. She said that in one program, negative things were said about Resham and even it was said that she affected people’s lives, which is an irresponsible behavior.
Mishi Khan further said that Resham is not only a talented actress but also actively participates in charitable works, especially providing food to the needy. She stressed that those who are doing good work should be encouraged and not criticized.
In his statement, he also said that before criticizing the past of others, everyone should look at their own actions, because no one is perfect. He clearly said that Resham is a good person and such talk against her is not appropriate.
Mishi Khan’s stance is receiving full support from social media users, and users are calling this step of his as a positive voice against the trend of character assassination in live shows.
