Actress Areeba Habib has revealed that in the Pakistan showbiz industry awards are not given but actually bought.
In a recent interview Areeba Habib said that she prefers to receive rewards instead of awards because awards are bought and when she will need one she can buy it.
The actress said that awards are available everywhere and she can buy them from anywhere but she does not want awards that have to be purchased.
Areeba Habib added that when she was a model she used to value awards but after coming into the acting world awards do not mean anything to her. For an actor the words said behind their back after they leave the set are the real award.
She also said that for an actor their bank account is the real award. Explaining her point Areeba Habib said that she knows many senior actors who have many awards but they do not have money for their medical treatment and seeing such actors makes her emotional.
It should be noted that in Bollywood many times actors have also accused that awards are not given but bought and now this has been revealed in Lollywood as well.
