Indian actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has decided to take legal action against people who made rude comments about her son’s skin tone.
According to Indian media, Devoleena, who became famous for playing the role of Gopi Bahu in a TV drama, has been targeted on social media. People made fun of her newborn baby’s skin color, and she has now decided to respond legally.
Since her son’s birth, Devoleena has been sharing his photos and videos on social media. But many users posted disrespectful and offensive comments about the baby’s complexion. The actress said that she will take strict legal action against those trolling her child online.
She added that as a public figure, she can handle criticism about herself, but targeting her son is completely unacceptable. She called such racist behavior a serious offense and said she will not stay silent on this matter.
According to reports, Devoleena has contacted the cybercrime wing, shared screenshots of the comments, and started the legal process.
It is also important to note that Devoleena married her gym trainer Shahnawaz Sheikh in December 2022, and their son was born in December 2024.
