Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan will be seen together on the big screen after 18 years. According to Indian media, both actors have started shooting for director Priyadarshan’s new film Haiwan, which began production in Kerala.
Akshay Kumar shared a video from the set where he was seen in a cheerful mood with the director and Saif Ali Khan. In the video, Akshay wore a t-shirt with the word buzurg written on it and held a clapperboard. Priyadarshan joked that it should have been written Haiwan instead.
Laughing at the joke, Akshay said that Saif Ali Khan will be the shaitan of the film, sometimes the one everyone knows and sometimes the one no one knows.
Akshay also said that every person has a little shaitan inside them, some look like elders on the outside but have a beast inside. He added that working with Saif Ali Khan again after almost 18 years makes him very happy.
It is worth remembering that both actors last worked together in the 2008 film Tashan. Haiwan is actually the Hindi remake of Priyadarshan’s famous 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam. Kajol, Bobby Deol, and Einar Haraldsson will also be seen in important roles. The film is expected to release in 2026.
