Recently, the designer was featured on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast. In the episode, Ali Xeeshan discussed the mistreatment of the industry with him. He also spoke up against a prominent editor’s comments regarding his mother. Ali Xeeshan also responded strongly to fashion industry leaders who believe the sector is dominated by a few elites.
When asked about the disrespectful behavior of the Karachi fashion business. Ali Xeeshan responded, “After Mrs Saigol gave me a platform in Lahore, I became an instant celebrity in Lahore. This was not well received by the Karachi fashion business because I received clearance as a fashion designer. Then I traveled to Karachi. I was a fresh fashion graduate who was terrified of all the industry’s great stars. I was there with all the major names when Raheel Rao of Diva handed me his piece about my fashion show in Lahore. He said, “See, I reviewed your work, read my article about you. The worst review, see this trash collection, the trash of Lahore, this is your worth”.

Regarding Raheal’s remarks about his mother, Ali stated, “He kept on trolling me, I was conducting a fashion show in Lahore, my mother was on her Umrah trip, I kept a chair spare for her, in that fashion show, he said, ‘Circus in the town, and also wrote on Facebook about me, “Holy Cow What The __ is Ali Zeeshan Wearing!!”. You do not have the necessary credentials to discuss my fashion or work.
