In a message on the photo and video-sharing platform Instagram, Angeline Malik took a realistic approach to sharing this good news. She clarified that clear scans are certainly a significant achievement, but the journey after cancer is not over yet.
According to Angeline Malik, two to five years of continuous clear scans are necessary to declare a patient completely cancer-free, while in some cases, this period can go up to ten years. She wrote that she considers herself cancer-free for today; however, the journey ahead requires a long and careful approach.
Expressing her emotions in her post, the actress said that in this phase of life, some days bring hope and some days pass with fear, but she is facing each day with courage, gratitude, and determination. She said that she is grateful for today, ready for tomorrow, and never intends to give up.
