Pakistani dramas aired on private TV channels are now gaining attention in the Arab world after becoming popular in India.

According to a Gulf News report, the charm and magic of Pakistani dramas is still alive because of their strong stories and brilliant acting, and people still enjoy watching them.

The report listed the five most-watched dramas. It mentioned that Pakistani dramas usually have emotional and beautiful stories that attract viewers. These serials do not always end with the typical happy ending but often show life’s struggles, pain, and tragedies with boldness.

At number one is Humsafar, which kept viewers hooked till the end with its love story and ups and downs.

At number two is Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which reflects class differences, gender expectations, and old emotional wounds.

At number three is Daam, a story about the friendship of two girls, where one falls in love with her friend’s brother after a fight between them.

At number four is Dastaan, a powerful story set during a time of sectarian division, showing an ideal couple who face many challenges because of society.

At number five is Rehaai, which tells the story of a girl who regains her respect after facing cruelty and saves her daughter-in-law from the outdated tradition of child marriage, while her own son Waseem is the oppressor.
