Pakistani senior actress Asma Abbas said that theatre actress Ruby Anam tried to get fame by defaming Lahore theatre and its artists.
Recently, Asma Abbas appeared in a podcast where she responded to Ruby Anam’s negative comments about her and her elder sister Bushra Ansari.
She explained that many people asked them to reply to Ruby Anam, but they chose to stay quiet. According to Asma, Ruby Anam could not achieve the success she wanted, so she decided to say something controversial to go viral and get fame.
Asma Abbas said that she has also worked in theatre and is still performing there, and she always receives respect and love from everyone. But people like Ruby Anam create a wrong impression by showing that theatre actors behave in such a way.
