Senior actor Behroze Sabzwari says that, compared to women, men have to think carefully about how to express their emotions.
He shared his thoughts in Gohar Rasheed’s show Ramz, where he openly talked about life, social pressures, and religion.
In response to a question, Behroze said that it is natural for women to express their feelings through tears, but unfortunately, society does not give men the same space or permission. A man has to think many times about how to express his emotions without being seen as weak.
Talking about the rights of men and women in Islam, he explained that while the Quran does give men a certain level of responsibility over women, it does not mean superiority. It simply refers to the division of duties. This means that men are responsible for providing and leading the family, not for being cruel or claiming to be better than women.
The actor also emphasized that the rights of men and women are equal. Sadly, society wrongly teaches men that they have the right to be angry, controlling, or even violent. This thinking is completely un-Islamic and morally wrong.
Speaking about financial pressure, he said that sometimes economic stress can push men towards the wrong path. That’s why it is important to start teaching children from a young age that no matter how hard life gets, they must always earn through honest and halal means. If this awareness is built early, a man will never turn towards illegal or unethical ways to earn.
