Bushra Ansari Calls For Justice For Pakistani & Indian Victims

Both Pakistan and India are experiencing increased violence against women and children. Pakistan was reeling from the horrible murder of 20-year-old Sania Zehra, as well as the recent example of a 5-year-old being raped in a government hospital, when the case of an Indian doctor in Kolkatta shocked the globe. The young doctor was viciously raped and murdered, and her story sent shockwaves across the world.

Artists on both sides of the border are calling for justice. Bushra Ansari has now come forward, calling for justice for women on both sides of the border. She questioned why we have a mindset in which males can simply shatter women like toys, as seen in Sania Zahra’s case and now with Dr Moumita. She went on to say that such occurrences will continue unless we start handing these men long prison sentences that render them incapable.
