Bollywood actress Celina Jaitley has filed a civil case in the Mumbai High Court against her husband Peter Hogg for sexual, physical and verbal abuse.
According to Indian broadcaster NDTV, Celina Jaitley has filed a domestic violence case in a Mumbai court, accusing her husband of emotional, physical, sexual and verbal abuse.
In the case filed in the court, she has made serious allegations against her husband and said that three weeks after giving birth to her child, she was pushed out of the house by her husband.
She has written in the application that due to giving birth to a child, her stitches from the operation were not even filled and she could hardly walk, but her husband instead of helping her, pushed her out of the house.
According to Celina Jaitley, she requested her husband to extend her leave, to which he got angry and called her an ‘ungrateful woman’ and pushed her out of the house.
The actress wrote that her husband held her hand and pushed her out of the flat and told her to get out of his life. She was in her nursing clothes at the time. She was trapped in an iron cage due to the push, but a neighbor came and saved her.
The actress wrote in the application that after the above incident, she fled Austria at midnight without her three children and returned to India. Upon her return, she found out that Peter had initiated legal proceedings for the transfer of property and divorce and had stopped her from contacting the children.
According to the actress, her husband allowed her to meet the children only once on November 14, while her husband has blamed Selena for the failure of the marriage in the divorce petition in Austria.
Celina Jaitley has filed a petition in the court seeking Rs 10 lakh monthly maintenance, Rs 50 crore compensation and permission to meet her children.
In her petition, the actress has also accused her husband of repeatedly adopting racist behavior, writing that her husband used to compare her to a maid.
According to Celina Jaitley, it was insulting for her husband to describe her as similar to his maid, which also caused her mental trauma.
In addition, Celina Jaitley has requested the media in her social media post not to use the pictures of her children in her differences with her husband, cases and ongoing issues regarding the children.
It should be noted that Celina Jaitley and Austrian man Peter got married in 2011, they have three children, in 2012 they had twin sons Viraj and Winston, in 2017 they had a third son while the fourth son Shamsher died due to a congenital heart defect.
