Indian actress and former Miss India Celina Jaitley has appealed to the media not to use pictures of her children in reporting on domestic violence cases she is facing.

The actress is currently fighting a serious legal battle against her husband, Australian businessman Peter Hague.

In a message released on Instagram, Celina Jaitley wrote that she is a heartbroken mother and requests the media respect the privacy of her children. Celina has also accused her husband of severe emotional, physical, verbal, and financial abuse.

The actress recently filed a divorce and financial compensation petition in a Mumbai court, demanding Rs 1 million monthly expenses and Rs 50 crore in damages.

She also sought help from a Delhi court a few weeks ago in the case of her brother, Major (retd) Vikrant Jaitley’s alleged illegal detention in the UAE.

Selina Jaitley and Peter Hague got married in 2011 and have two sets of twins. In 2017, their youngest son, Shams, died shortly after birth.
