Later, podcaster Irshad Bhatti also apologized to Meera for his behavior.
Recently, Meera participated in a podcast where she expressed her views on the controversy. In the podcast, the host asked her if this interview was ‘paid’? To which Meera said that she participated as a guest and according to her, the host promoted her film in the best way.
She further said that she does not want to comment on this matter nor does she have any complaints with anyone because her film is going to be released soon. And she wants people to watch her film on Eid-ul-Adha and express their opinion, which is the most important thing for her.
It should be noted that recently, journalist and host Irshad Bhatti interviewed actress Meera, in which most of the questions asked by the host were related to the actress’s personal life and videos that went viral in the past.
During the conversation, Meera repeatedly requested the host to limit the conversation to the promotion of the film, but the questions continued to turn towards her private life. At the end of the trailer, the actress can be seen smiling, thanking the host and leaving the interview unfinished.
After the trailer was released on social media, users are expressing mixed reactions. Many people called the host’s questions inappropriate. After this, Irshad Bhatti issued a clarifying statement and also apologized to Meera.
