Court seeks replies in Ducky Bhai gambling app case

The court has issued notices to both parties in the case against YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, for promoting a gambling app and has asked them to submit their replies.

The Lahore High Court heard Ducky Bhai’s request for post-arrest bail in the gambling app promotion case. Justice Farooq Haider conducted the hearing, issued notices to the parties, and postponed further proceedings.

Advocate Imran Chadhar appeared in court on behalf of the petitioner. In his application, Saad ur Rehman said that he was arrested by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) at the airport while he was traveling abroad, even though he had not received any notice or summons.

The petition also includes NCCIA and other departments as parties in the case. Saad ur Rehman further stated that after his arrest, he was kept in NCCIA custody for ten days on physical remand. The court has asked all parties to submit their responses and adjourned the hearing.
