Daughter suffers two heart attacks in eight hours – a heartbreaking time for Annie Khalid
Annie Khalid, who was once a top star in Pakistan’s music industry, had been away for a long time. But now she returned and shared news about her life that made everyone sad.
In an Instagram post, Annie shared the heartbreaking story of what happened to her seven-year-old daughter Ayesha.
Annie said it happened on 23rd January 2024, a date that will stay with her forever.
She shared that her daughter, who was perfectly healthy, had two heart attacks within just eight hours.
Annie wrote that little Ayesha’s heart was affected by irregular heartbeat and lack of oxygen.
Due to severe lack of oxygen for 45 minutes, her organs started to shut down one by one.
Doctors had to put Ayesha on life support. A tube was inserted, she was connected to a heart-lung bypass machine, and dialysis was started to keep her kidneys working.
Annie wrote with deep emotion that she had tears in her eyes. Her daughter, who used to laugh, play, and dance at home, was now lying unconscious, surrounded by machines and wires.
She said that before this, Ayesha had never been sick. She was born completely healthy and never had any illness. But now, she was facing organ failure, brain damage, and the risk of paralysis.
Then the doctors told Annie that Ayesha had developed peripheral neuropathy, and due to brain injury, she was no longer able to walk.
Annie said that she had faith in Allah. When the doctors gave up, Allah gave her hope. She said that Allah is kind and merciful, and Ayesha is a miracle from Him.
The doctors were surprised that Ayesha survived, but Annie said it was only because of Allah’s mercy. She added that where logic ends, Allah’s mercy begins.
She wrote that Ayesha is here, alive, smiling, laughing, and recovering. She is stronger than any child Annie has ever seen. And InshaAllah, one day she will walk again. Annie said she truly believes this with all her heart.
In the end, Annie Khalid requested everyone to please remember her daughter Ayesha in their prayers.
