Senior actress Nazli Nasr said that divorce is a common issue in every other home, but women in showbiz face more criticism when they get divorced.

Recently, she gave an interview to Fuchsia Magazine where she openly talked about different topics.

In response to a question, she said that people criticize actresses more for divorce and often say that in showbiz, every other woman goes through this.

She explained that divorce is not just a showbiz issue, it happens in many homes. The only difference is that when a celebrity gets divorced, everyone finds out. But when an ordinary person gets divorced, most people don’t even know.

Nazli Nasr said that if an actress talks about her divorce, the reason is to help others through her experience so someone else can learn something. The purpose is never to make girls rebellious.

She also shared that deciding to remarry was not easy. But she didn’t want to depend on her children or put pressure on them, so she chose to marry again.

According to her, when parents don’t remarry after divorce, they often create emotional pressure on their children. They keep reminding them that they sacrificed their whole life for them, which is not right. Parents should avoid doing this.

It is worth mentioning that Nazli Nasr’s first marriage was with actor Hasan Soomro, with whom she has two children. After the failure of that relationship, she married director Mohsin Mirza.

She has acted in popular dramas like Dhuwaan, Mere Hamdam Mere Dost, Khwab Nagar Ki Shehzadi, Fraud, Kafaara, and Mehraa.
