A case has been filed by YouTuber Ducky Bhai’s wife Aroob Jatoi against government officers for taking heavy bribes. According to reports, several officers of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) are accused of taking bribes and abusing their powers.

The case claims that Ducky Bhai’s family paid a total of 9 million rupees in bribes. The investigation officer took 6 million rupees through a middleman in exchange for giving relief to Ducky Bhai. This money was paid by the YouTuber’s friend Usman. Later, another 3 million rupees were demanded to send the main suspect on judicial remand.

Documents show that the officer kept 2 million rupees for himself, paid 0.5 million rupees to the Additional Director, and kept 5 million rupees in a car showroom through his frontman. The officers have been accused of corruption and misuse of authority.

A total of nine officers have been named in the case. Six of them went missing for several days.

In court today, the lawyer of the six arrested officers said that his clients were kept in illegal detention. He also said that their families were not allowed to meet them and were not given a copy of the FIR. The lawyer called it a clear violation of the Constitution and police rules.

He also said that the arrested officers should have been presented before the court within 24 hours, but that did not happen. He requested the court to order FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore to present the officers immediately for a fair hearing.

Sources say that officer Chaudhry Sarfraz was removed from his position last month due to several controversies and sent to Islamabad Headquarters. Later, he applied for six months leave. His name has been linked to cases involving YouTubers and social media influencers like Ducky Bhai and Rajab Butt. These cases were related to online trading and betting apps.

Some other disputes also involved clashes between lawyers, journalists, and police officers. Officials believe that the disappearance of the officers is connected to the ongoing investigations of influencers and their financial crimes.

Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had ordered police to find Deputy Director Muhammad Usman within a week. This order was given after his wife, Rozina Usman, said that four armed men kidnapped her husband on October 14. The court was later told that Rozina herself went missing while following up on the case, so the court asked the police for a new report.
