Well, the actress has given several interviews on her debut in show business. Most people assume Durefishan has no media experience, although she was introduced by the well-known Pakistani actor Kashif Mehmood.

In an old interview with Hassan Chaudhary, Durefishan stated, “Initially, when I came to Karachi for auditions, my father’s very dear friend Kashif Mehmood assisted me in getting all of the major production houses’ auditions; I gave the auditions and returned to Lahore.” Well, I was lucky to get Dilruba in this process, but I was scheduled to do another project (with another channel) as a female lead, but they denied me, which disappointed me, so I immediately took the part in Dilruba, and now I am in front of you.”
