Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi’s cousin Asif Qureshi was murdered outside his home. According to Indian media, the incident happened on Thursday night in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area. Asif was stabbed to death during an argument over parking. Around 11 PM, he asked two local boys to move their scooter that was parked in front of his house.
Police said the suspects, 19-year-old Ujjwal and 18-year-old Gautam, got angry and returned with a sharp weapon, possibly a knife, and attacked Asif. He was taken to the hospital immediately, but the doctors declared him dead.
Eyewitnesses and CCTV footage showed that during the fight, one of the attackers grabbed Asif by the collar and stabbed him in the chest.
Asif’s wife, Sainaz Qureshi, tried to save him, but the boys killed him in public outside their house and then ran away.
Police have arrested both suspects and filed a murder case. The weapon used in the attack has also been recovered. It is reported that there were earlier disputes between Asif and the boys over bike parking.
