Egyptian actor and cinematographer Taimour has lost his life in a tragic accident. According to Arab media, the actor was on a picnic at Ras Al Hekma in the north when his son was caught in strong waves.
Seeing this, Taimour jumped into the sea to fight the waves and rescue his son.
He managed to reach his son and saved him but sadly he himself was taken away by the powerful waves.
The sudden death of the actor left the showbiz industry in grief, and many artists paid tribute to him on social media.
Actress Yasmin Abdel Aziz wrote on Instagram that there is no god but Allah. She said Taimour was a kind-hearted and brave man. She prayed for Allah’s mercy on him and patience for his family.
Actor and friend Hossam Dagher expressed his sorrow on Facebook, saying that a father drowned while saving his son. He wrote that this pain is unbearable and his tears are not stopping. He prayed that Allah grants him a place among the martyrs, as he died the death of a hero.
The Egyptian Syndicate of Artistic Professions also expressed deep sorrow over Taimour’s passing, saying that he was a prominent name in Egyptian drama and cinematography.
