Pakistani actress Meera made the news again when she believed the false news about the death of senior Bollywood actor Dharmendra and expressed her condolences on social media.

Major Indian media outlets like India Today ABP News News18 and Hindustan Times reported on Tuesday morning that Dharmendra had passed away. Later his daughter Esha Deol denied the news and clarified that Dharmendra is alive and recovering.

However Meera thought the news was true and shared a condolence post on Instagram with Dharmendra’s picture. She wrote that she is saddened by Dharmendra’s death and praised him as the famous ‘He Man’ of Bollywood who entertained audiences for six decades.

She also wrote that his roles in the films Sholay Chupke Chupke and Phool Aur Patthar will always be remembered.

After her post users quickly commented that Dharmendra is alive. Even actor Yasir Hussain wrote that Dharmendra is alive. Despite this Meera did not delete her post for several hours.

On the other hand, Dharmendra’s wife Hema Malini expressed strong anger at the Indian media saying that these false reports are unforgivable and it is sad to see such irresponsible reporting while a person is undergoing treatment.

It is worth noting that Dharmendra is receiving treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, and according to his family, his condition is now improving.
