Former Pakistani model Abeer Iftikhar’s husband, Salman Iftikhar, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison by a UK court.
According to a private website, Salman Iftikhar, a British businessman of Pakistani origin, was accused of seriously harassing an air hostess during a private airline flight from London Heathrow to Lahore.
Reports say that Salman Iftikhar was under the influence of alcohol during the flight and was traveling with his first wife and three children.
During the flight, he not only harassed the air hostess but also threatened her with gang rape and said he would burn her body. The air hostess was deeply traumatized after the incident.
This case has also been widely discussed on social media, and despite being a businessman, Salman Iftikhar’s punishment is being seen as an important legal step.
It is important to note that Salman lives in a luxurious two-million-pound house in the UK with his first wife and children. Five years ago, he married Pakistani model Abeer Iftikhar as his second wife, after which Abeer stepped away from the modeling industry.
