Mirza Gohar Rasheed has requested the concerned authorities to close the zoo in Pakistan due to the deteriorating condition of Noor Jahan, the elephant in Karachi Zoo.
He wrote in his tweet that ‘I humbly request the authorities to close all the zoos in Pakistan, this is not fun, it is sad to see that the 17-year-old African elephant Noor Jahan was killed in the zoo in Karachi. How are you keeping it?
Gohar Rasheed further said that if we cannot treat them well, at least give them their freedom.
