Hafsa Butt shares how someone said I want you on my bed during a casting couch experience

Popular actress Hafsa Butt revealed that in the early days of her career, someone tried to take advantage of her through casting couch. A producer asked her to be on his bed in exchange for work.

A few weeks ago, Hafsa appeared on the FHM Podcast, where she spoke openly about different topics.

When asked about sexual harassment and casting couch in the show, she said that such things are common in the showbiz industry and happen with almost everyone.

According to Hafsa, almost every woman in the industry has faced harassment, but most do not speak about it.

She said that when this happened to her and she shared it with her colleagues, they told her that such things are normal in this field.

She shared that a producer once sent her a voice note on WhatsApp. First, he offered her work, told her about a drama, and asked if she had ever played a lead role.

Hafsa said she told him that she had never done a lead role before. Then the producer said something inappropriate, which she didn’t understand at first.

The producer told her that if she wanted a lead role, she should also give him something in return. When she asked what he meant, he said that she should be on his bed.

Hafsa said she was shocked to hear this.

A few days later, the same producer called her and said he was just joking and not to take it seriously. He tried to hide his mistake.

Although Hafsa shared her casting couch experience, she did not reveal the name of the producer.
