Famous and lively Pakistani actress Hania Aamir strongly spoke out against people who spread fake news. With 18.6 million followers on Instagram, she is the most followed actress in Pakistan. She responded in her unique style to those who share fake news and social media posts using her name.

In her Instagram story, Hania shared a viral video that gave tips about phone camera settings. But to get more views and likes, the content creator used Hania Aamir’s name in the video, even though she had nothing to do with it.

Through this simple viral video, Hania tried to highlight the serious issue of fake news.

In her story, she wrote that even though this example is not very serious, this is how people write anything, say anything, and then keep talking about it by themselves.

She added that anyone can say anything, and people just believe it. Everyone keeps playing these games with each other. What are you all doing? She also stressed the importance of fact-checking.

It is important to note that Hania Aamir is not only popular in Pakistan but also well-known in the neighboring country, India. However, during the tense time between Pakistan and India, she was also among the artists who became targets of a boycott campaign.

At the same time, Hania Aamir, who stays active on social media, became the target of several fake news stories one after another.

First, a fake Instagram story went viral using her name. It was about the Pahalgam attack and showed a message asking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take action. Hania cleared things up by saying she had nothing to do with that post and that it was completely fake.

Just as that issue was settling down, new rumors started spreading on Instagram about her having another account for her Indian fans. Hania responded again and clearly said that she only has one Instagram account.
