Actress Hania Aamir gave a funny response after being jokingly called Hania Paneer on an Indian news show. Her Indian Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3 was released on June 27 and was shown not only in India but also in Pakistan and other countries around the world.
However, due to diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan after the false flag operation in Pahalgam on April 22, the film could not be released in India.
Hania’s appearance in the film faced criticism from some Indian filmmakers, and Indian news channels even held debates about it.
Last month, a video from an Indian news show went viral where one of the guests sarcastically acted like he didn’t know who Hania Aamir was and said is she Hania Paneer or Mir? I’m hearing this name for the first time.
That clip became quite popular on social media, and now almost a month later, Hania Aamir has responded.
She posted a video on Instagram showing her getting ready, doing a photoshoot, and attending the screening of Sardaar Ji 3. In the video, she jokingly said that maybe her real name is Hania Paneer and even mimicked the comment from the news show.
According to the actress, very soon there will be a social media account that will share fun memes of Hania Aamir, and she will handle that account herself.
Reports say that Sardaar Ji 3 has earned 500 million rupees in Pakistan, beating Carry On Jatta 3. This has made it the highest-grossing Indian Punjabi film in Pakistan.
