How did world-renowned pop singer Hassan Jahangir’s journey from painting to singing come about, he told this in an exclusive interview with ARY News.
In the spirit of Ramadan, he told stories of his childhood and youth, how he reached this point due to struggle, passion and dedication.
He said that I was fond of painting since school time. I used to make different pictures on the walls and doors of the house with the help of coal and chalk. Later, I learned regularly and made it a source of income. He said that while painting, I used to hum and to fulfill this passion, I used to go to a music academy in the evenings where I used to do small jobs, the artists there used to take me with them to programs. Similarly, one day I got the opportunity to sing in a Mehndi program, where I was very well received.
Hassan Jahangir said that from that day on, I became famous and people started inviting me to their functions, offers started coming from big recording companies and people also loved me a lot.
It should be remembered that the songs of famous pop singer Hassan Jahangir became famous not only in the subcontinent but all over the world. Jahangir was born in Karachi. His song “Hawa Hawa” took him to the heights of fame.
