Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has shared the story of his first meeting with his wife Katrina Kaif. Vicky Kaushal appeared on the show “Too Much with Twinkle and Kajol” where he talked about their initial encounter.
He revealed that comedian Sunil Grover played a surprising role in bringing them closer.
The 37-year-old actor said he first met Katrina at an award show where he was hosting and she was performing. They performed together on a song, and later Sunil Grover introduced them backstage.
Vicky shared that just five minutes after meeting, Katrina was already giving him hosting tips, even though he had finished hosting the event.
He added that their next meeting was also at an award function, where he jokingly proposed to Katrina on stage.
After this playful act, rumors about their relationship spread in the media, which later became reality when they got married on December 9, 2021.
The couple recently welcomed their first child.
