Senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari revealed that her first wedding cost only one thousand rupees. While talking with Faisal Qureshi and Yasir Hussain on a private TV channel’s Independence Day show, Bushra Ansari shared that she got married in 1978 to producer Iqbal Ansari, who was a government employee at that time with a salary of only 1200 rupees.

She said there were no gold ornaments or a grand function at the wedding. Her father also stopped his son-in-law from selling his car to buy jewelry or taking a loan for the reception.

According to Bushra Ansari, her wedding was completed with just one dress, one handbag, and one thousand rupees, which did not put any financial burden on her husband.

She advised the young generation that a simple wedding is the best way to live a happy life. Expensive weddings not only break homes but also increase the burden of loans.

It is important to note that Bushra Ansari and Iqbal Ansari’s marriage ended after 36 years. They have two daughters, Nariman and Meera Ansari. In May 2023, the actress also admitted that she got married a second time.
