Senior Pakistani actress Samina Peerzada recently revealed a real-life encounter with jinns after the big success of her horror film Deemak.
Deemak has become one of the most successful horror films in Lollywood’s history. Viewers are praising not only the story but also the performances of the cast.
The film is doing so well that shows are running house full in cinemas across the country, and people are standing in long lines to get tickets.
Released under the banner of Mandviwalla Entertainment, the cast includes Samina Peerzada, Faisal Qureshi, Sonya Hussyn, and others, who are all celebrating the film’s success.
This film marks Samina Peerzada’s return to the screen after nearly seven years. She was last seen in the hit drama Bela in 2018, where she played the role of Bilal Abbas’s mother.
After the film’s success, Samina appeared as a guest on Imran Ashraf’s talk show Mazaaq Raat, where she shared a scary experience that happened just before the film’s shoot.
She said that a few days before filming started, she noticed the garden light at her house was not working. She asked someone to fix it, but when it took too long, she decided to go and turn it on herself. When she was returning, she felt a powerful push from behind that threw her far away.
She said it was so strong that she fell hard and got injured, and till today, she believes it was not a normal thing but something supernatural.
She said that she was in a lot of pain because the fall was very hard. She got serious injuries on her face, shoulder, back, hands, and knees. But even after that, she had to go for the shooting of the film Deemak, so she went to the shoot with bandages on, in that injured condition.
She added that the jinns she was supposed to face in the film had already reached her before the shoot, as if they were saying let’s see how you will act now.
