Senior TV actress Ayesha Khan passed away at the age of 77. Her body, which was about a week old, was found in her apartment in Karachi.
Police confirmed that the body found in a flat in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7, Karachi, was of senior actress Ayesha Khan. They said the body was a week old. She had been living alone. When a bad smell started coming from her apartment, neighbors informed her relatives.
Ayesha Khan’s friend Tehmina Khalid also confirmed her death. While talking to private channel Geo News, she said that Ayesha Khan passed away in Karachi about five days ago.
Her body has now been moved from Jinnah Hospital to the Edhi morgue at Sohrab Goth. The police said a post-mortem will be done if the family requests it.
