Actress Sara Ali Khan shared that once she lied to her mother, Amrita Singh, and secretly traveled in a local train. But when her mother found out, she was very upset.
In an interview, Sara recalled that she was in Mumbai and took a ride on a local train without telling her mother. She said she lied and told her mom she was at a neighbor’s house.
Later, Amrita found out through a phone call from a journalist. At that time, there had also been a train accident, which made her mother even more worried.
Sara said that the journalist called her mom and said he was proud of her daughter and had a photo of her traveling in the local train. He asked if he could publish it.
Sara added that her mom felt really bad because she was young and it was risky. Her mother explained that she should never lie about her location and should always be careful. Sara said the experience was not good.
In another interview, Sara also talked about the negative comments she sees on social media.

Sara explained that she understands these are comments from anonymous and sad people, but a mother is always a mother. That’s the only thing that really bothers her. She said if she could block social media from her mom, she wouldn’t care at all.
She added that her mother reads these comments and pretends everything is fine, but Sara can tell from her face that something has hurt her. Her mom doesn’t say anything, but Sara knows and it doesn’t feel good.
