In Pakistan, the month of Ramadan provides a wealth of programming for television viewers, particularly Ramadan plays, which have the greatest TRPs and viewership. Hum TV resumed this tradition by airing “Suno Chanda” in 2018. Before “Suno Chanda,” Geo TV’s “Barat Series” and “Kis Din Mera Viah Howey Ga” were famous Ramadan television shows. Currently, drama producers and stations are focusing on Ramadan programming, particularly light-hearted programs. This year, Hum TV will telecast two Rom-Com dramas: “Very Filmy” and “Dil Pe Dastak.”
Very Filmy is Hum TV’s forthcoming Ramadan drama in 2024. Ali Hassan, known for his work on Fairy Tale, directed the drama. Muhammad Ahmed wrote the plot for the drama. Momina Duraid produced the drama series. Very Filmy appears to be a beautiful drama full of love, comedy, and cinematic moments starring Rohaan and Danya. Dananeer Mobeen, Ameer Gilani, Bushra Ansari, Ali Safina, Mira Sethi, Ukhano, Nabeel Zuberi, Ameema Saleem, Deepak Perwani, Salma Hassan, Syed Adnan Jaffar, Noureen Mumtaz, Tehseen Wajahat, Rabiya Rizwan, Momina Munir, and Manal Siddiqui appear in the film.
Dil Pe Dastak is yet another highly anticipated Hum TV Ramadan soap that promises endless enjoyment. The teaser for Dil Pe Dastak has also been released. The drama appears to be an entertaining watch. Ali Masud Saeed directed the play. Hassan Imam wrote the story for the play. Momina Duraid produced the drama. The series’ brilliant cast includes Aena Khan, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Taimoori, Parishae Adnan, Arjumand Rahim, Saman Ansari, Sakina Samoo, Behroze Sabzwari, Farhan Ali Agha, Uzma Beg, and Hassaan Imam.
