Model and actress Humaira Asghar’s body, which was 8 to 10 months old, was found in her apartment in Karachi. She had been living alone there on rent since 2018.
According to Express News, Humaira’s body was brought from Karachi to Lahore by her brother and brother-in-law, and she was buried in the Model Town graveyard.
At the burial, Humaira’s father appeared in public for the first time. Earlier, it was being said that he had refused to receive his daughter’s body.
Humaira’s father, Asghar Ali, is a doctor by profession. As soon as he was seen at the graveyard, reporters started asking him many questions.
Responding to the claim about not receiving the body, he said that they could not take the body until the post-mortem was completed.
He explained that in such cases, there is a legal process for receiving the body from the police, and it takes time.
When asked about the cause of death and whether it could be murder, he refused to comment on the post-mortem report.
Pointing toward the sky, he said that whatever happened to his daughter, God will bring justice.
Right after the burial, Humaira’s father left the graveyard and avoided answering more questions from the media.

Since September 2024, she had no contact with anyone. The landlord had also gone to court to get the apartment vacated.
When the court officer came to empty the flat, no one opened the door despite knocking many times. So, the door had to be broken.
As soon as the door was opened, a strong bad smell came out. Her decayed body was found lying on the floor. It was almost 8 months old.
At first, her family refused to receive the body, but later, on the police’s request, her brother-in-law and brother came to Karachi to collect it.
Humaira Asghar was highly educated in drawing and art. She was also a skilled painter and sculptor. She had more than 700,000 followers on Instagram.
She had moved from Lahore to Karachi to make a name for herself in showbiz. She gained fame through Tamasha Ghar and the film Jalebi (2015).
