The tragic death of Pakistani actress Humaira Ali has brought the women of the industry together. Famous drama actress and former Member of National Assembly, also the ex-wife of late Dr. Aamir Liaquat, Tooba Anwar, shared that female actors from the industry have created a WhatsApp group to check on each other’s mental health.

In an interview with a private digital media channel, she said that this WhatsApp group was made recently and includes women from the media industry. The main purpose is to stay in touch and ask about each other’s well-being.

Tooba said that weekly check-ins will be done in the group. This group will help us talk openly about mental stress and mental health issues. One of the benefits of this group is that we can also talk about our family and financial problems. It is an open forum.

She said that she lives with her family, but many of her friends have come from cities like Islamabad and Lahore to work here. If Humaira’s death has affected her this much, she can’t even imagine how hard it must be for those who live far from home.

She added that it is very important to stay connected with our friends.

Earlier, actress Sonya Hussyn also spoke about this WhatsApp group. She said that after the tragic incident with Humaira Asghar, the showbiz industry has now taken a step to check in on each other.

She shared a video message saying that this incident deeply affected everyone, and because of that, a group was created last night in the showbiz industry. All artists, makeup artists, technical staff, and all the girls who are living away from their families for any reason have been added to this group.
