The drama serial Sher starring Danish Taimoor and Sarah Khan has become the talk of the town due to its strong storyline and the great performance of its cast.

The powerful cast includes Sarah Khan, Danish Taimoor, Arjumand Rahim, Sunita Marshall, Nabeel Zafar, Atiqa Odho, Yousuf Bashir Qureshi, Faizan Sheikh, Ali Tahir, and others.

The drama is written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Aehsun Talish. His son Raza Talish is working as the assistant director for this project.

But did you know that Sarah Khan was not the first choice for this drama? Yes, this surprising news was revealed by rising actress Sehr Hashmi.

In Sher, Danish Taimoor is playing the main role of Sherzaman, while Sarah Khan is winning hearts as Dr. Fajar.

Just as the strong chemistry between Sherzaman and Fajar was keeping the hype alive, actress Sehr Hashmi’s statement shocked the audience.

In a special interview with Fuchsia Magazine, Sehr Hashmi shared that for the past one and a half years, she had been hearing that the makers wanted to cast her opposite Danish Taimoor. She said she was even approached for Sher.

She added that she had several meetings with the director for this drama, but since she is still new in the industry, there was pressure on the makers about casting her in such a big project.

Sehr Hashmi shared that it is hard for producers to trust new people because a lot of money is spent on big projects, and they worry about their return. That is why the project did not come her way.

Continuing her story, she said that later she went to Seventh Sky Productions where the director of Meri Baji, Ali Faizan, saw her and said she would be perfect for the role of Ria. So instead of getting cast in Sher, she was given a role in the drama Mann Mast Malang.

Story of the drama:
The drama Sher is about a strong-willed man named Sherzaman, played by Danish Taimoor. His family’s traditions and responsibilities have shaped him into a powerful personality.

On the other hand, Dr. Fajar, played by Sarah Khan, is a kind and caring psychologist. She gets caught in a long-running family feud.

The story begins when Dr. Fajar falls in love with Sherzaman’s cousin, which later becomes the reason for family conflict.

During this clash, Sherzaman’s aunt, played by Sunita Marshall, sacrifices her life to save him. After that, many twists unfold involving kidnapping, fights, and deep-rooted family rivalry.
