Important revelations from Dhanashree Verma’s interview after her divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal

Indian choreographer Dhanashree Verma, in a recent interview, spoke about the support and encouragement she received from her parents after separating from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal.

According to Indian media, Dhanashree said that the early days after the divorce were very emotionally difficult for her and her parents. However, her family, friends, and team played an important role during this tough time.

She shared that ignoring negative comments on social media was easier, but her parents had to face pressure from relatives and society. At times, her mother became sad and she advised her to switch off the phone because it was hard for her to handle the social pressure.

Dhanashree said her parents always reminded her that she made a brave decision by ending a powerful relationship with dignity, and they are proud of her.

It is important to mention that Dhanashree and Chahal got married in December 2020, separated in June 2022, and their divorce was finalized in March 2025.

Recently, Dhanashree appeared with Rajkummar Rao in a dance number for the film Bhool Chook Maaf, and now she is set to make her acting debut in the Telugu film Akasham Daati Vosthava.
