Former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s sons have met Richard Grenell, the former US intelligence chief and special aide to President Donald Trump.
This meeting between Imran Khan’s sons, Qasim and Sulaiman Khan, and Richard Grenell took place in the US state of California. After the meeting, they started a campaign for their father’s release from Adiala Jail.
Richard Grenell, who supports the demand for Imran Khan’s release, posted a photo with his sons on the social media platform X. He wrote that it was great to spend time with them and welcomed them to California.

He also wrote that Sulaiman and Qasim must stay strong. Millions of people around the world are tired of political revenge, and they are not alone.
Along with his message, he once again demanded Imran Khan’s release and used the hashtag FreeImranKhan.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s sons also met with Pakistani-American doctor Asif Mahmood, who is playing an important role in the campaign to gain support for PTI in the United States.
Dr. Asif Mahmood is the Vice Chairman of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). He shared a photo in which he is seen with Imran Khan’s sons and Richard Grenell.
He said he is very proud of Imran Khan’s sons, Qasim and Sulaiman Khan, who are fighting for the release of their father, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is unfairly jailed.
He praised Richard Grenell for standing with justice and principles, and he also stressed the need to unite for Imran Khan’s release.
It is important to note that Imran Khan’s sons, Sulaiman and Qasim, became politically active in May when they first publicly spoke out about their father’s arrest and demanded his release.
Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, had said that his sons would first go to the US to raise awareness about the injustice their father is facing. After that, they would come to Pakistan and join the campaign for his release.
Imran Khan has been in Adiala Jail since August 2023. He is serving a sentence in a 190 million pounds corruption case, and he is also facing other cases under the Anti-Terrorism Act related to the May 9, 2023 protests.
