Pakistani actor and singer Farhan Saeed has said that India is afraid of the growing popularity of Pakistani dramas and that is why it is trying to limit the access of Pakistani content to Netflix.

Speaking in a podcast, Farhan Saeed said that according to the current situation of Pakistan’s showbiz industry, the best way is to create quality content for global streaming platforms, because after coming to Netflix, the whole world can watch Pakistani dramas.

He said that due to political reasons, the neighboring country tries to block Pakistani dramas, while our dramas have already reached India in terms of quality and are very popular there.

Farhan Saeed said that he saw with his own eyes at the Delhi airport that despite the Pakistani drama being muted, everyone was watching it with interest.

The actor said that blocking good content does not stop, people watch it in any case. There is a need for Pakistan to take control of its own content on streaming platforms to avoid the risk of any future restrictions.
