Indian actress Ananya Pandey has reacted strongly to the selection of Pakistani cricketer Abrar Ahmed in the cricket league ‘The Hundred’.

Reports circulating on social media are claiming that Indian actress Ananya Pandey reacted strongly to the selection of Pakistani cricketer Abrar Ahmed and announced a boycott of Sunrisers Hyderabad and allegedly destroyed her Reliance Jio SIM card. However, there has been no official confirmation from Ananya Pandey on this matter yet.

It should be noted that Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed’s participation in the Indian-origin owner Kavya Maran’s team Sunrisers Leeds in England’s The Hundred League has created a lot of heat across the border. Indian social media users and fans are expressing strong displeasure over this.

According to media reports, The Hundred League will be played between July 21 and August 16. Abrar Ahmed will need an NOC to participate in The Hundred League. Abrar Ahmed is likely to not get an NOC due to national responsibilities. It should be noted that Abrar Ahmed played his last Test against the West Indies in January 2025.
