Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who recently entered politics, is unsure about her political future. After making a unique name for herself in Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut stepped into politics last year.

Since June 2024, she has been serving as a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party.

This year, Kangana made her return to the big screen with a political film called Emergency, which she directed and co-produced herself.

In this film, she played the role of India’s first and only female Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, and performed it very powerfully. But does Kangana wish to become the real Prime Minister of India one day?

To this, Kangana replied no.

In an interview, Kangana Ranaut said that she is slowly starting to understand politics, but she is not enjoying it.

She shared that this work feels like a kind of social service. Even though she has spoken up for women’s rights in the past, this experience is very different.

Kangana explained that people come to her with complaints like broken drains or damaged roads, and when she tells them these are state government issues, they respond by saying she should fix them with her own money.

She clearly said that she has no big political dreams, such as becoming the Prime Minister.

Kangana said she does not think she is suitable to become India’s Prime Minister. She added that she doesn’t have the passion or interest for it. Social work has never been a part of her life. She lived a self-centered life.

She said that she always wanted a big house, a luxury car, diamonds, and to look good. These were her dreams. This is a new beginning for her, and she doesn’t know what purpose God has chosen her for. But she doesn’t see her life as a great sacrifice and isn’t interested in living that kind of life.

On the film front, Kangana will soon appear again with R Madhavan in a psychological thriller. They have worked together before in the film Tanu Weds Manu.
