Jaan e Jahan has reintroduced Hamza Ali Abbasi to television audiences. It’s lyrical, and Hamza looks great after shedding so much weight. The drama has also reintroduced the classic Pyare Afzal couple of Ayeza Khan and Hamza, and it appears that both will be able to captivate the audience once more. The first episode introduced the audience to all of the characters. Both Hamza and Ayeza have a terrific screen presence and know how to create magic on film.
The entire supporting ensemble, including Savera Nadeem, Asif Raza Mir, Noor ul Hassan Mohammad, and notably Haris Waheed, who plays the perfect adversary in the plot, is also quite polished. It was a nice first episode having a filmic vibe to it.
